Cinema Sex Ed Lively, entertaining, and occasionally educational discussions of the cinematic and sexual elements in various films throughout the years.

Lesson 10: "Boogie Nights" -

Take your seats class!  In this episode, Your Virtual Best Friend Jenni J.V. Wilson - aka "Miss Jenni", aka @Pinkie Avalon - sits down with screenwriter Kyle Pennekamp (tw: @KylePennkamp) - aka "‘Laska Maple" - for an in-depth conversation about the cinematic elements, artistic merits, and social messages regarding sex and love that we might take away from Paul Thomas Anderson's 1997 film "Boogie Nights" - starring Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, and Julianne Moore.

Lesson 7:  Body Heat

*Spoiler Alert**Spoiler Alert**Spoiler Alert**Spoiler Alert*

In this episode, Miss Marcie and Miss Jenni languidly glide through the sweaty world of Lawrence Kasdan’s 1981 film “Body Heat” starring Kathleen Turner and William Hurt.

“BODY HEAT":  A story about a couple who’s comfortable together, just hanging out naked, smoking’, and talkin’ 'bout murdering someone...

Along they way your hosts beef up their discussion of Film Noir and Toxic love by including some outside professional voices from a few of their favorite dudes - a screenwriter, a film editor, and a lawyer.

Bottom Line?… "Cinema Sex Ed: Pro-Sex, Anti-Murder”

Lesson 4:  The Rocky Horror Picture Show

*Spoiler Alert**Spoiler Alert**Spoiler Alert**Spoiler Alert*

With 2015 marking the 40th anniversary of classic rock-opera The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Miss Marcie & Miss Jenni take you through a music-filled journey to Dr. Frankenfurter’s castle and back home again to Transexual Transylvania.

Before Western culture was fully comfortable with non-traditional gender identifications and sexual fluidity… before Dr. Ruth, YouTube, Caitlin Jenner, and the “It Gets Better” campaign... Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror gave shelter to a generation of the curious, and offered a bold unapologetic voice to all those hiding in closets from the established cookie-cutter ideas of what was and was not acceptable in or out of the bedroom.

Get out your tightie-whities, your sequined platform shoes, your kimonos, and your bustiers, and give yourself over to absolute pleasure.  Sing along as we enter the fishnet-covered rose-tinted world of one Sweet Transvestite and his friends who take wide-eyed Brad and Janet along on a ride no one ever truly forgets.
